Health Risks

Most people have disorders or injuries of Elbow, Wrist, Neck, Back and Eyes due to improper using of computers. It means it is not impossible to control these issues. Users should keep correct posture and take work breaks. Computers must build with ergonomic hardware devices in order to reduce risks for life. Computer addictions are also a major behavioral health risk e.g.:- addiction to games, applications.

Data Corruption

All data that we store in computer actually stored to a hard disk. If something happens to that hard disk all data will be lost. It is a huge risk. Also, there is software corruption problem which causes huge problems with data. These corruption problems also can happen due to malware activities. So a company needs to take frequent backups of data and keep an updated antivirus in order to avoid or minimize the corruption of data.

Initial Setup Cost is High 

A user need to purchase monitor, mouse, keyboard, motherboard, CPU, speakers and other hardware parts to build a computer by himself and also need to purchase software like Windows 10, office packages, etc. so he has to spend a lot of money on that. If a company decides to initiate a computerized system, the organization needs to spend a lot of money to do it. 

Lack of Privacy and Security 

When you are using the internet there is a high risk of leaking personal information E.g.:- password, phone numbers etc. There is some attacker uses phishing emails to distribute malicious links or attachments that can perform a variety of functions, including the extraction of login credentials or account information from victims. Some hackers use ransomware attacks to encrypt the data in computers and request payments to decrypt those data. There are also different kind of virus and Malware threats. An organization needs to well prepare to face these kinds of security and privacy challenges.
